Landen's story

Landen Michael Royer was born 12:23 pm at 4.7 pounds and 18 inches long. All things considered, he's doing really well!
Here's a picture of our poor guy on a C-pap machine to help him breath. They did put him on the ventilator long enough to give him medicine then they took it out.

Our pediatrician said that he'll probably be in the nursery for about 2 weeks until he meets all his criteria of breathing on his own, eating well and able to maintain a stable body temperature.
Landen holding on to Brian's finger. It helps so you can see how small he really is!

Suprisingly he has really long arms and legs, and even a little double chin.

Yeah, all done!

Congratulations! I am so happy everything turned out ok. And I hope he will keep doing so well. Take care and get those last few days of sleep you can. Before you know it he will be home and sleep will be in the past.

Congratulations Brian & Daleen! He's a beautiful little baby. Ryan commented that he's got the Rosenlund build and looks like Brian. He'll definately be a cutie. We love you both and are excited to see you at Christmas. Take care :)

He is so stinkin' cute! I know it's not fun to see your little man with all the "equipment" on, but he'll be home before you know it. It's obvious that he is a fighter... he is doing exceptionally well for his gestational age! Way to go you two... and Heavenly Father did a great job too;0)
P.S. what is with the hazmat suit... did you have to have a c-section or was that just a precaution? Momma Dee, I hope you're doing well. Don't forget to take care of yourself too! Love you!
