Finished Remodel

I've been meaning to put these pictures up for awhile, since it's been done for about a month, but for some reason it's been really busy around here! I don't have any before pictures, so if you really want to see them, let me know and I'll find them and post them.

The toilet in the newly created bathroom...duh! But the cool thing about both the new toilets is that they are a slow close lid, so they never slam. Brian's not such a huge fan of that feature in the middle of the night when he's half asleep, but I LOVE IT!

View from the door that connects to our room. This room used to be some man's trophy hunting room. Just imagine walls covered in barn wood! Lame!

The only change made to our room was the window being made larger so that it was up to code and the wall to the left of the window was moved into the room 1 foot to make more room for the bathroom/walk in closet.

Another Month!

I can't believe that in 1 month from now, my little Landen is going to be a year old!!!! It seems like only a few months ago we were dreaming of even being able to have a baby and now we have such a sweet, fun little boy! He definately has his opinions, especially when it comes to food! Don't get me wrong, he LOVES to eat, he's just getting to the point where he knows what he likes and what he doesn't, and he would much rather have REAL food than baby food, which to be honest is fine with me, because it gets expensive buying two separate meals. Landen is definitely my little buddy! We can laugh and play all day long! And when he's done with me, he sure LOVES to wrestle with BJ! It is so cute! BJ can get him giggling like no one else, but he's still so gentle with him. They're definitely going to be buddies for life! One of these days I'll get a video of them playing together!

Family Reunion

So my mom's side of the family had a family reunion/80th birthday party for my grandma the weekend of July 24th (when every other Mormon seemed to be having their family reunion). I can't say that I remember being in Utah for the 24th of July which is a state holiday (Pioneer Day), and it's a HUGE deal. There were parades in almost every town, and I even saw fireworks! The sad thing about the whole trip is that I didn't take any pictures! I was too busy hanging out with my cousins that I forgot to pull out the camera. I'm hoping that I can get more pictures from everyone! Just to give you some background info, my cousin and I tried to add up how many immediate cousins there are (not including spouses and their children), and we came up with 45!!! All that from my grandma having 8 children of her own! What an awesome site it must have been for my grandma to get to SEE so many posterity. One of my cousins made a picture slide show for grandma and of course I cried. We also spent a day in the park which of course included face painting, eating and what's a reunion without a water fight? So, here's the few pictures I took...SAD!

Landen and Cason are only a couple of months apart. They were so cute chatting it up. They definitely speak the same language! Bella was so cute with Landen...she just LOVES babies!
