Stupid Groundhog!

Going to church was a lovely adventure today. Landen and I only went to sacrament meeting today so that he could get a good nap in since he/we didn't sleep well last night (the poor kid has a snotty nose...AGAIN! He's seriously been sick for a month). I had almost taken his car seat cover off, but thank goodness I didn't, because Rexburg decided to have a freakin blizzard! I'm not joking! The wind was blowing incredibly hard, and the snow was the nice wet stuff that messes up your Sunday hair! As I was walking back out to the car after church, Landen's flap over his face was whipped open by the narly wind and he started SCREAMING because of the wet ice chunks hitting his face...poor kid. By the time we made it to the car, the whole left side of my body was drenched! I had to wipe my face off to keep water from dripping in my eyes. Just when we thought we were going to have nicer weather, this happens. Only a year and a half left of this Iceburg!

We got about 2 inches

Yeah, you can see that the pile of snow hadn't completely melted in front of our house yet

Some Favs

Ever since we were in San Francisco, I've been having problems with my camera making blurry pictures, and I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe blurry isn't the right word, just kinda fuzzy, and I did use night mode in San Fran, but I haven't used it since...I really hope my camera isn't broken, because it's only about 5 months old! But, the good thing is, is that I've been taking more pictures. So here's some cute ones of Landen. If anyone knows anything about cameras and what might be wrong with mine...please let me know!

Can't believe it!

How did this happen? Landen is 6 months old! Where has all the time gone! We took him to the doctor yesterday for his 6 month check-up, and his bronchiolitis is gone, but the poor kid got a head cold just as he was recovering from the bronchiolitis! He's doing better everyday. He's such a sweet baby, and I know that I've said this before, but I'm so lucky to have him. He's such a chill little boy...which will hopefully last through toddler and teenage years ;). He's more fun everyday. He's getting better at reaching and grabbing things and just wants to explore everything (with his mouth of course). No teeth yet, but they way he's drooling we're wondering how long it's going to be. I was packing away his preemie and newborn clothes (finally) yesterday, and it's so crazy to think that once upon a time, those preemie clothes were actually big on him! He's still a little guy (12 pounds 11 ounces, 25 inches long), but he's definitely much bigger than when he came into this world. I love his smiles and his sweet sounds and how excited he gets when daddy comes home. He loves playing with his daddy! They just get each other laughing. So, to my sweet boy, here's to another six months! I can't wait to see how much you change and grow.

Bronchiolitis

It's official, we took Landen to the doctor today, and he has bronchiolitis. So, we're now the proud owners of a nebulizer and get to give him breathing treatments. Poor kid! The treatments seem to be helping already! He's coughing more, which is a good thing, because that means it's breaking things up, but he still doesn't have his appetite back. That was our big indicator yesterday that he really wasn't feeling so good, because the kid will normally eat anything and everything, but it got to the point where he barely wanted his bottle. Even the doctor said that he didn't look or act sick, but he definitely is! He's such our little angel! He's hacking and coughing on second then grinning and laughing at us the next like there isn't a problem at all. I don't know what I've done to deserve such a good baby, but I'm definitely very grateful! By the way, once I get a picture of him with his nebulizer I'll post it, because the mask for it is so cute! It looks like a dragon face!
