So much love!

First you find a wonderful person that you love so much and can't imagine loving anyone more, then you start having these:

And you realize you don't necessarily love anyone MORE, you just get to love MORE people. It's divine! I LOVE my little family!!!

Money, money, money

When I started my job (back in December), we had to send the kids to babysitters the first week because of my orientation schedule. I hated it! But they didn't seem to have such a terrible time there:

I love that Brian and I have jobs that we can alternate days that we work and the kids never have to go to daycare. I'm only working 6 shifts a month to bring in some extra "pay off debt faster" money, but it's amazing how much less I get done around the house! Of course Brian is still working nights, and that causes a problem with trying to be quiet during the day and not getting certain jobs done, but he's been awesome at helping out too when he can. I'm finally understanding how debt can cause you to feel in bondage, because it limits you from being able to make other choices that you want/need to be doing because of it. I'm so grateful I have such a good, flexible, well-paying job to be able to help get out from under the weight of it all! We're hoping in a year's time to have cut our debt in half...so looking forward to that!

Story time madness

Landen adores story time! He asks me almost everyday if he can go. This is his favorite part:

Yup, they're playing with a parachute...brings back so many childhood memories!

Seriously, parachute day in gym class was the best day ever!

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam

My big boys has now moved into Primary! (children ages 3-11 at church) He is officially a "Sunbeam" (the 3 year old class). He's adjust very slowly to being in with the "big kids", and still asks me every week if he can go back to nursery (where he could run a muck, eat snacks and play with toys the whole time...lets face it, I think we'd all love to be in a class like that!) He's become very independent lately and wanting to do EVERYTHING on his own, which has been wonderful at times and frustrating at others. My favorite is when he wants to say prayers without help. I'll admit, I got teary eyed the first time he did that. I know, I'm a sap! Here's some pictures (that he wouldn't cooperate for) for his first day of Sunbeams:

My 31st Birthday

Well for my birthday (Christmas), we went over to some good friends of ours house to eat some good food and share some birthday cake. Now, this cake is the 2nd cake, because BJ decided to help himself to the first one that Brian got me...it was a really pretty, yummy looking one too with shaved white chocolate and everything! Stupid dog! Anyway, Brian thought it would be so funny to get me candles that don't blow out...great prank for an aging lady ;). The kids sure loved it, but even they got frustrated after a bit. It was kinda funny. So here's a few pictures from the moment.

Landen and his buddy Kaylee taking a turn trying to get the candles out

Classic!

I have no idea what I'm trying to help Kaylee with
Getting ready to sing...sorry these pictures are backwards!
Brooke thought she'd give it a try too!
